Engineering the web

A small stack, in the open.

Code, contracts, release history and a clear place to report what you find.

Build and contribute

Forma is MIT-licensed and developed in getforma-dev/forma. Read the current contribution guide before proposing a cross-package change. Include a small reproduction, supported versions and a test of the behavior you changed.

Report an issue

For a defect, include the package versions, rendering mode, browser or Rust environment, expected behavior and smallest reproducible example. Native compile failures should include their diagnostic code and original source location.

Open a reproducible issue ↗. Every documentation page also has a contextual improvement link.

Report security concerns privately

Follow the repository’s current security reporting policy. Do not publish exploit details or credentials in an ordinary issue. Supported versions and reporting channels are defined in that policy.

Support expectations

The published documentation and tests describe supported behavior. This open-source project does not advertise an enterprise support SLA. Check the stability guide and release notes before upgrading.

Project history

Forma 3.0 unifies the TypeScript and Rust packages around FMIR v3, typed request props and declared islands. Historical designs remain in the repository, clearly separated from current application guidance.
