Released October 20, 2026
Seven packages, one versioned contract
The 3.0 release coordinates four npm packages and three Rust crates. Native pages declare their inputs in TypeScript; Rust binds the matching schema and renders HTML. Islands activate the parts of that HTML that need browser behavior.
What to read first
- Upgrade to 3.0: changed APIs and application work.
- Architecture: rendering choices and responsibility boundaries.
- Compatibility: build and deployment alignment.
- Performance evidence: scoped final-release measurements.
Release evidence
The tagged 3.0.0 release links artifacts and qualification. The as-built record documents completed qualification and limits; historical traces are retained.
Documentation versions
This website and its runnable examples use stable Forma 3.0.0. Imported pages record their reviewed source revision separately from the package version. The 3.1.0-rc.2 prerelease is a separate preview; its features and measurements are outside these 3.0 guides. Check GitHub’s release history before choosing an upgrade.
